Embedded within the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness & Research Centre our researchers work together with clinicians to enhance patient care.
Through six core research programs we investigate and develop treatments for a broad spectrum of cancer types including breast, bowel, liver, lung, melanoma and brain cancer.
Our medical researchers have committed their lives to discovering how to improve the lives of people living with cancer.
At any one time there are 60-70 clinical trials of new cancer treatments in progress with our clinical partners at the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness & Research Centre.
In partnership with La Trobe University the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Research Institute is the La Trobe School of Cancer Medicine. Together we undertake collaborative research and joint training of medical researchers within a clinical environment.
Austin Health is the largest provider of health care services in Victoria, Australia. We work in partnership with Austin Health doctors and nurses within the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness & Research Centre to undertake clinical trials for the benefit of patients with cancer.
