Bullying and Harassment Prevention Policy

The Olivia Newton-John Cancer Research Institute (ONJCRI) is committed to providing a workplace free from bullying, harassment and discrimination. We aim to ensure everyone in our workplace is treated with respect, dignity and fairness, in an environment which promotes positive working relationships.

This policy is designed to ensure that all employees, students, contractors and visitors understand what will be regarded as bullying and sexual harassment, and should be read in conjunction with the Complaints Procedure.

Complaints Procedure

This procedure aims to provide advice in the first instance, so that staff can seek clarification on the policy expectations of the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Research Institute (ONJCRI).

Where a staff member perceives that bullying and harassment, sexual harassment, discrimination or other inappropriate conduct has occurred, the Complaints Procedure provides a process by which such concerns can be raised and addressed.

Whistleblower Policy

The Olivia Newton-John Cancer Research Institute (ONJCRI) is committed to the highest standards of conduct and ethical behaviour, research integrity and good corporate governance and to operate legally, properly and ethically.

This policy has been developed and implemented in accordance with the requirements of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) (the Act) and ASIC’s Regulatory Guidelines (RG 270: Whistleblower Policies).
