Personalised cancer medicine
Focussed
We specialise in investigating treatments for cancers of the breast, bowel and gastrointestinal tract, lung, skin, prostate, liver and brain.
Global
We collaborate with like-minded researchers, clinicians, pharmaceutical companies and universities across the world.
Dynamic
We are the La Trobe University School of Cancer Medicine, training the next generation of medical researchers in a collaborative environment.
Where we are
Located within the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Centre
Our research laboratories are just metres away from hospital beds, allowing us to fast-track scientific discovery into clinical trials to improve treatment options for patients.
What we do
Our research
Our researchers are investigating and developing treatments for a broad range of cancers. We are committed to making scientific discoveries which benefit people living with cancer.

Clinical trials
In 2019, our Institute investigators led 157 clinical trials. Everything we learn from these trials is taken back to the laboratory to help further discovery and development of treatments to directly improve health outcomes for patients.
