A perfect partnership!

Proudly presented by Gladstone Regional Council (GRC) and Gladstone Entertainment Convention Centre (GECC), the 2023 Community Musical GREASE will be dedicated in memory of Dame Olivia Newton-John, DBE, AC.

Dame Olivia’s outstanding campaign for the advancement of cancer research and treatment has offered hope to people affected by the disease, all over the world. In 2023, 10% of all cash sponsorships for the GRC/GECC production of GREASE will be donated to the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Research Institute (ONJCRI).

In addition, we encourage anyone who is capable, to consider donating the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Research Institute. Cancer, unfortunately, affects many of us but every dollar we raise takes us closer to finding a cure.

Grease is the time, is the place, is the motion. Now Grease is the way we are feeling!

Here is Rydell High’s senior class of 1959: duck-tailed, hot-rodding “Burger Palace Boys” and their gum-snapping, hip-shaking “Pink Ladies” in bobby Sox and pedal pushers, evoking the look and sound of the 1950’s in this rollicking musical.

Relive the classic story of Danny, Sandy, the Burger Palace Boys and the Pink Ladies as they navigate the trials and tribulations of teenage life, love and leather jackets.

Bursting with hits including Summer Nights, Greased Lightnin’, Hopelessly Devoted to You and You’re the One That I Want.

It’s got groove, it’s got meaning and it’s burning up the quarter mile! Packed with explosive energy, you don’t want to miss this electrifying performance.
