The ONJCRI Flow Cytometry Core Facility is a state-of-the-art shared resource offering comprehensive analytical cytometry and high-speed cell sorting services to researchers within our Institute, affiliated organisations, and external users. Our mission is to deliver high-quality services and proactively integrate flow cytometry into diverse research programs. We are also committed to education, providing expert training to students, staff, and investigators.

- GLP/GMP-compliant sample processing: Standardised preparation of clinical trial samples, including cell isolation and viability assessment.
- High-precision cell sorting: High-speed sorting and single-cell isolation for downstream research applications.
- Multi-parameter analysis: Comprehensive cell phenotyping and functional assays using advanced flow cytometry, including characterisation of cell populations based on surface and intracellular markers.
- Experimental design & training: Expert consultation on experimental setup, panel design, and hands-on training.

The first spectral cell sorter in Australia; 5-laser, 67-parameter sense-in-cuvette system, capable of sorting up to 55 million cells per hour and 6 unique populations simultaneously. - BD FACS Aria III
