Last weekend, a community came together for a Cancer Research Fundraiser Trivia Night at Ringwood Bowls Club Inc.
The event was organised by Jazz Dzioba, who is currently living with metastatic breast cancer. Jazz was supported by her team of Hosts: Brendan, Tristan, Emma, Sarah, Hayley, Lauren, Dianne, Nicole & Amelie.
Driven to give back to a cause close to her heart, Jazz brought people together for an evening of trivia, prizes, and an impromptu dance contest, all in support of cancer research at ONJCRI.
With teams battling it out over trivia questions and generous raffle prizes donated by local businesses, the event raised over $9000 dollars which will be put towards metastatic breast cancer research.
Jazz is hoping her community can help push the total even higher, keeping donations open until this Sunday, which marks one year since her diagnosis.

“As someone who is currently living with metastatic breast cancer, I know how critical ongoing research is,” Jazz shared. “Every discovery helps improve outcomes, extend lives, and bring us closer to better treatments.”
