Platform Technology #1:Custom LNP Assembly (NanoAssemblr Ignite)
We employ the NanoAssemblr Ignite™ system, which combines precision-controlled pumping with proprietary microfluidic mixing cartridges. This enables rapid, reproducible production of lipid nanoparticles at bench scale with seamless scalability to preclinical and clinical manufacturing. Using NxGen and Classic cartridge geometries, formulations can be tuned by flow rate ratio, total flow rate, and dilution conditions to precisely control particle size and polydispersity. The Ignite platform supports formulation volumes up to 20 mL, with optional heating (up to 75°C) for temperature-sensitive lipids.

Platform Technology #2: Ultra-Low Volume Formulation Screening (NanoAssemblr Spark)
For early discovery and in vitro screening, we use the NanoAssemblr Spark™, which produces ultra-low volume formulations (25–250 µL) directly inside a biosafety cabinet. This allows high-throughput screening of novel lipid compositions and RNA cargos using minimal input material, seamlessly linking formulation to downstream cellular assays.
Spark accelerates optimisation by enabling rapid exploration of formulation parameters (e.g., lipid composition, RNA cargo, buffer systems) before scaling up on Ignite. This integrated workflow reduces material use, shortens development timelines, and increases the likelihood of successful translation.

Platform Technology #3: LNP Characterisation (Zetasizer Ultra Red)
To ensure quality and reproducibility, our platform incorporates the Zetasizer Ultra Red, a leading instrument for nanoparticle analysis. This system combines multi-angle dynamic light scattering (MADLS®) and electrophoretic light scattering (ELS) to provide high-resolution particle size distributions (0.3 nm–10 µm), zeta potential, and aggregation profiles.
This characterisation capability is complemented by RNA encapsulation efficiency assays (e.g., RiboGreen) and in vitro functional screening, enabling a comprehensive workflow from formulation through to biological evaluation.
