We rely on the generosity of supporters like you to achieve our vision of outsmarting cancer and making it a manageable disease.

We know that individuals, families and carers are waiting for this to become a reality and we are doing all that we can to help achieve this. But we can’t do it alone, we need your help.

The Olivia Newton-John Cancer Research Institute is a registered charity. Full details about our charity status area available on the ACNC website

By supporting ONJCRI you will:

  • Make a direct impact on cancer research. By supporting our team, our research efforts will lead us closer to discovering new cancer treatments.
  • Be a voice for cancer research. By joining this voice, we will build our community of like-minded individuals who have a desire to see a new cancer story.
  • Make research accessible. We are focused on translating our laboratory-based research into practical changes to clinical care for patients in hospitals. We aim to do this through clinical trials and drug discoveries.
  • Support the greatest research minds. We are proud to have a team of world class researchers onsite at the Institute and we also proactively collaborate with key researchers, universities and industry leaders across the globe.
  • Be a part of a people led Institute. Everything we do is focused on improving the lives of people impacted by cancer.

There are many ways you can support our research...

Leave a gift in your Will

A gift in your Will is a commitment to finding a cure for cancer.

By including a gift in your Will or a bequest to ONJCRI, you can make a huge impact for people impacted by cancer now and into the future. Once you have provided for your loved ones, you may consider including a percentage of the remainder of your estate to help support the ongoing research at the Institute.

Your generosity can help to:

  • Find new cancer treatments. Our researchers are committed to finding new treatments for cancer so that it becomes a manageable disease. Your gift can help these researchers continue this important work.
  • Create your legacy. You have a passion to find an answer to cancer and your gift will keep your passion alive.
  • Make a commitment but not impact your lifestyle. You may not be in a position to donate now. But you can still make a positive impact on cancer research in the future.

Your solicitor will help you word your bequest in a way that ensures that your Executors are able to effectively carry out your wishes. To assist you and your solicitor we have provided an example of appropriate wording below, including the correct legal name should you wish to make a bequest to the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Research Institute.

I give to the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Research Institute (ABN 11 167 192 752) or its successor in the state of Victoria at Level 5, ONJ Centre, 145 Studley Road, Heidelberg VIC 3084, a _____% share of my estate (or the sum of, or specific item i.e. property shares, work of art etc).  The receipt of an authorised officer of the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Research Institute shall be an absolute discharge to my executors.

Please note:
